Azerbaijan and Argentina have formalized a protocol on trade and economic cooperation in Buenos Aires, as announced by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Argentina, according to Report.
The agreement was signed during the second meeting of the Joint Working Group on Economic and Trade Cooperation, led by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, and Argentina’s Secretary of International Economic Relations, Fernando Brun. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral economic and trade ties, with emphasis on deepening collaboration in industries such as energy, healthcare, tourism, and digital technologies.
During his visit to Argentina, Deputy Minister Aliyev also held meetings with representatives from Argentina’s Ministry of Economy and YPF, the country’s largest oil and gas company, to further explore opportunities for cooperation.
